Packed and Ready to Go

24 hours from now we will all hopefully be in Cincinnati!

As we make the final preparations in packing up the food, drinks and supplies needed to assist the bikers on their journey, we can’t help but look back to last year’s  Bike Challenge and see the fruits of all God did over the year with the funds that were contributed.

We believe that the first child rescued from the Micah 6:8 Van that was purchased with funds from last year's ride should be delivered this week!

We also received an email from South Street that they have received in-kind commitments of another $120,000 from contractors in Akron so they are now ready to complete the building renovations at the Porch.  Last year’s Bike Challenge provided the $44,000 in funds to help put a new roof on the building that is home to a new café and is also being used for worship on Sundays and local community meetings.

A family is living in the first home completed at Urban Vision with some of the funds raised last year, and another home is almost ready!

It will be a blessing to see how the Lord will use the funds from this year's initiatives.  As Pastor Joe reminded us today in his message, we will truly know the extent of God’s provision when we get to Heaven and meet the children who were rescued.

Please pray for the riders, good weather, and most of all, God’s provision and guidance in this journey to Rescue Children – one child at a time!
