They’ve Been Gifted: Thank You!

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

2 Corinthians 9:6

The principle of sowing and reaping applies today.

Recently, members and friends of Christ Community Chapel (CCC) had an opportunity to sow generously through the They’ve Been Gifted event.  100% of the proceeds from the sale of Christmas gifts at the event will benefit CCC local and global outreach ministry partners.

So, how did the sowing go?

Unbelievably!  Our ministry partners will receive nearly $32,000 in support from this event!

For example:

Mobility Worldwide in Stow saw over $13,000 in support – enough to sponsor the building and shipping of 44 PET mobility carts for the needy in developing countries.

Artworks for Freedom benefited a ministry in Turkey helping children with special needs with over $4,300 raised.

Broken Chains, which ministers to former inmates in the Akron area, came away with more than $3,000.

Cocina, which ministers to needy children in Haiti, had $1,000 in funds raised.

Other partners at They’ve Been Gifted include South Street Ministries, Blessings of Summit and Portage Counties, Rahab Ministries, Slavery No More, First Glance, Hospital Shalom, India Gospel League, Legacies of Success, Pregnancy Solutions & Services, True North and Truly Reaching You.

Thank you!

CCC ministry partners, the Local Outreach team and staff of CCC thank you for your generous support of these biblical justice and mercy ministries.  May the blessings for your generosity be eternal, as you have chosen to give Christmas gifts with eternity in mind!

They’ve Been Gifted: Giving with Eternity in Mind!

…if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Romans 12:8

God is mindful of how we give.

God is the Ultimate Giver. And, believers are urged to be like Him. So, the motives and attitudes behind our giving are important to Him.

Believers have options other than retail malls.

Christ Community Chapel, with campuses in Hudson, Aurora, Stow and Highland Square, will offer They’ve Been Gifted this year, on the weekend of December 3rd and 4th.  Christmas gifts purchased at this event bless both the recipient, and a Christian justice & mercy related ministry.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from purchases go to CCC local ministry partners, such as Mobility Worldwide Stow-OH, or global ministry partners such as Destiny Rescue.  The gift recipient will receive a card explaining the mission of the related ministry.

Volunteers from Mobility Worldwide Stow-OH, which manufactures PET mobility carts for the leg impaired in developing countries, will be on hand at They've Been Gifted this year. There will be opportunities to sponsor the building and shipping of mobility carts in honor of or in memory of a loved one via a $5,000 fund matching pledge!

Gift purchases can be made to benefit justice & mercy ministries related to the heartbeat of the recipient, for a more meaningful Christmas.

Giving with eternity in mind!

Too often the social pressure for gift giving at Christmas blurs the true meaning of the celebration. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!

Please prayerfully consider They’ve Been Gifted in your shopping plans this year.  By helping justice & mercy related ministry partners, you’re investing in the Kingdom of God, and in the eternal well being of those served by these partners.
