Volunteering Opportunity: Urban Vision Christmas With Dignity Store!

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

From Titus 2:6-8 English Standard Version (ESV)

Dignity?

Christmas with dignity refers to the fact that Urban Vision gives at-risk kids the opportunity to get a hand up, rather than a hand-out. Urban Vision kids earn UV dollars during the year for achieving certain goals through hard work and the help of mentors. As a result, they are encouraged to budget these  dollars toward purchases of gifts at UV’s Christmas store in mid-December.

Can dignity and fun go together?

Absolutely! Volunteers get to see very young people carefully comparison shop and responsibly deal with their UV dollar budgets and UV bank accounts. UV kids are truly an inspiration!

How can I help?
