Whoever oppresses a
poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.
Proverbs 14:31
Giving to ministries
for biblical justice and mercy honors God!
God is ever mindful of the needs of
the poor. Likewise, followers of Jesus are growing in their love for the less
fortunate – and they put that love into action.
How does this look in
2014?
It looks like the generous response
of Christ Community Chapel members and friends in the They’ve Been Gifted
weekend of December 6th & 7th! On behalf of CCC’s 12 ministry partners
represented at They’be Been Gifted, Thank
you!
What is the impact of
your generosity?
Because of your generosity…
Rahab Ministries is better funded to
show the love of Christ in rescuing women from sex trafficking in the Akron
area. Rahab sold out of merchandise after the first service!

Broken Chains ministry has more
resources to help ex-offenders establish healthy, productive, Christ-centered
lives. Broken Chains merchandise also was sold out!
Dennis Shawhan, Executive Director of Broken Chains Ministry, saw plenty of action at They've Been Gifted
PET OH-Stow can fund the building
and shipping of additional Personal Energy Transportation mobility carts for those who cannot walk in
developing countries. PET lifts up the name of Jesus Christ, while also lifting
up those with physical disabilities into new lives of dignity and mobility.
Hospital Shalom in Guatemala has
additional funding for consumable and disposable supplies for its laproscopic
surgery services. The recent funding supplements Hospital Shalom’s investment in laproscopic
equipment, which was purchased via previous CCC giving. Hospital Shalom’s use
of laproscopic equipment has transformed standards for medical care in the
entire country of Guatemala, as hospitals in urban areas are forced to scramble
to match Hospital Shalom’s capabilities.
Sandy Andrassy, representing Hospital Shalom, expressed amazement at the transformation of Guatemala's health care industry spurred by donations from CCC members and friends
Your generosity has also encouraged
the very young to not only know Jesus and grow in Him, but to also to actively
serve Him. For example, CCC’s Blast children’s
ministry for 4th and 5th graders is providing funding for
a hospital in Pakistan. Likewise, the 4-year-olds of Kids Club are providing
resources to benefit the orphan children in Monterrey, Mexico served by
Back2Back Ministries. Clearly, the love
of God for the less fortunate has been planted in the hearts of these young
followers of Jesus. And they are making a difference in His name!
CCC's push to live out the Gospel has given rise to justice and mercy entrepreneurs like Mia, who is part of the Blast group of 4th and 5th graders
These are just a few examples of how
your love and generosity are allowing the 12 They’ve Been Gifted ministry
partners to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the less fortunate.
Thank you!
Your generosity in the name of Jesus Christ is impacting lives for the glory of
God, both locally and globally.
