Urban Vision's 2013 Fundraising Banquet

Thursday, September, 5^th, at Quaker Station Urban Vision will hold its annual fundraising banquet. The banquet’s theme is “A Night to Bridge the Gap” in Akron’s North Hill. This is an opportunity to sponsor children who would like to participate in Urban Vision’s Set on Success (after school tutoring and optional education classes) and Beacon Christian Learning Center (focused and tailored education) programs.  The banquet features presentations by Mr. Jim Tressel, former Ohio State football coach and current VP of Student Engagement at the University of Akron, and by Urban Vision founder Jodi Matthews.

Doors open at 6:30 PM on September 5^th, and the event begins at 7:00 PM. The Quaker Station is located at 130 East Mill Street in downtown Akron. Tickets are $35 per person, or $250 for an eight-person table. There are also opportunities to help sponsor the event, to help ensure that funds raised go directly to children in need.
