…if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is
to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Romans
12:8
God is mindful of how we give.
God is the Ultimate Giver. And, believers are urged to be
like Him. So, the motives and attitudes behind our giving are important to Him.
Believers have options other than retail malls.
Christ Community Chapel, with campuses in Hudson, Aurora, Stow
and Highland Square, will offer They’ve Been Gifted this year, on the weekend
of December 3rd and 4th.
Christmas gifts purchased at this event bless both the recipient, and a
Christian justice & mercy related ministry.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from purchases go to CCC local
ministry partners, such as Mobility Worldwide Stow-OH, or global ministry
partners such as Destiny Rescue. The
gift recipient will receive a card explaining the mission of the related
ministry.
Giving with eternity in mind!
Too often the social pressure for gift giving at Christmas
blurs the true meaning of the celebration. For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life!
Please prayerfully consider They’ve Been Gifted in your
shopping plans this year. By helping
justice & mercy related ministry partners, you’re investing in the Kingdom
of God, and in the eternal well being of those served by these partners.
