Why Not Me – Helping with Urban Vision’s He Lives Easter Party

but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14

Jesus wants children to come to Him.

He seeks those who will embrace Him with childlike faith.

Where does this happen in 2015?

Christ Community Chapel ministry partner Urban Vision (UV) is hosting a He Lives Easter Party, where we hope many children come for a celebration and end up experiencing the love of Jesus. Last year, UV had 12,000 Easter eggs for kids at the party. While the candy and food at the He Lives Easter Party aren’t the main priority, they do help attract kids who might not otherwise come.  And, you can help with this opportunity for kids to be drawn to Jesus.

How can I help?

In any of several ways.

·      Easter Eggs – Stuff plastic Easter eggs with individually wrapped candy (with 2 pieces of tape on either side) and drop off a Urban Vision by March 20th. You’re also welcome to drop off just the plastic eggs or individually wrapped candy, and UV will assemble them for you.

Hard Boiled Eggs – Donate hard boiled eggs (not dyed) to Urban Vision on March 26th – UV needs around 20 dozen.

Volunteer at the Party – Be a helper in a group on March 27th 4 PM – 8 PM. The more helpers at the Party, the more kids get loved on!

Provide a Meal – Cook and provide the meal on March 27th or financially support the meal for 300+ kids.

Spread the Word – Whether you are able to help or not, please let others know who might be interested!
