Thanksgiving Baskets – Making God’s Love Tangible!

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

From I John 4:16

God lives in believers, so we can show His love to others.

God extends His love to men and women through the birth, life, sacrificial death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin, restoring our relationship with God the Father. We have been redeemed for a purpose; to demonstrate the love of God to others.

CCC's Thanksgiving Baskets initiative is on!

How can we show God’s love to others?

By serving others in the name of God.

One great opportunity is the Christ Community Chapel Thanksgiving Baskets drive.

How does this work?

Friends and members of Christ Community Chapel (CCC) are encouraged to donate the contents of a basket with food for a great Thanksgiving dinner to feed up to 10 people. CCC will be signing out 1,500 baskets to those willing to donate food on the weekends of November 4/5,  11/12 and 18/19. The filled baskets will be returned by food donors to the Hudson Campus on Monday November 20th  9 AM to 5 PM.

By contrast, our CCC Highland Square and Aurora Campuses, will be signing out the baskets the weekends of November 4/5 and 11/12. Baskets will be retuned to Aurora on the 19th and HighlandSquare on the 20th.

Some say that food is love. Join us in making God’s love tangible this Thanksgiving season!
