And behold, an angel
of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter
on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.
Acts 12:7
With God, the chains
of bondage can be broken.
All have sinned;
all are offenders. However, the Gospel
gives us the promise of freedom from the bondage of sin.
What does this look
like today?
It looks
like the work God is doing in the lives of young people through True North
Ministry. True North, a Christ Community
Chapel ministry partner, works with young men and women who have been
incarcerated, but now are alive to the liberating power of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
What does this have to
do with me?
You have a
great opportunity to support the work of True North by attending their banquet
on Thursday, April 23rd. At
the event, youth from True North will relate how the love and grace of Jesus
Christ have set them free. For details,
please see the graphic below.
