The October Simple Opportunities to Serve (SOS) featured ministry is Portage Trail Chapel.

And when did we see you sick…and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Jesus has a heart for those who are sick and isolated.

Even a small, simple effort to bring cheer to the sick, isolated and elderly in the name of Jesus Christ is seen as a love offering to Him.

   

How can I be Jesus to the elderly?

You can pitch in at Portage Trail Chapel.

Portage Trail Chapel is a worship service ministry to benefit the residents of the Portage Trail Nursing Home.   These residents are unable to get to church service so every first and third Monday, Christ Community Chapel brings live worship and a pastoral message to the residents.
