“Then the righteous
will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and
give you something to drink?...’”
“The King will reply,
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and
sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
From Matthew 25: 37-40
What’s this about?
Jesus tells His
followers that those who love Him will be known by their simple acts of
service.
In response to God’s
grace, we will want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
What about today?
Friends and members of Christ
Community Chapel (CCC) have been challenged to grow 10 degrees hotter in our
love for Christ. The goal is to better fulfill our reason for existing:
To love the Lord our God with all our
heart and soul, mind and strength.
If we grow in this love, we will
also grow in loving our neighbor as God does.
And God’s love is all about serving.
Serving whom?
This February, CCC’s Local Outreach
team and the Love Like Crazy group want
folks to join them in serving the at-risk kids Urban Vision helps with
after-school tutoring and other great programs.
Urban Vision serves meals for Pre-K through 5th grade.

website
Urban Vision provides meals for the
kids. In the past, that meant feeding 20 or so children a day. However,
the need has spiked to 100 to 200 kids a day.
This speaks highly of the impact Urban Vision is having in the lives of
young people.
However, resources are limited.
How could I help?
In one of three areas:
PRAY: Sign up to be a prayer warrior
for Urban Vision. You will get a monthly e-mail with three prayer
requests/praises for the ministry. You can lift these up in prayer during the
month. To sign up, contact Barbara Ammirati: Barbara.Ammirati@ccchapel.com .
SERVE: Hang out with Pre-K to 5th
graders during a VBS-type event. Choose a Friday from 3:30 to 6:15 PM. Contact
Nathan Kreis: Nathan@urbanvisionministry.org for details.
GIVE: Make
or buy a tray of lasagna (freezer ready in a disposable pan marked "URBAN
VISION") to help feed children in need at Urban Vision. Simply drop the
tray of lasagna off at the Hudson CCC office receptionist desk Mon-Thurs 8:30
to 4:30pm or Friday 8:30 to noon. For information, contact Karen McStay,
CCC Urban Vision Local Outreach Coordinator, at kmcstay@hotmail.com .
