Each
of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
God has gifted us with a
purpose in mind.
That purpose is to serve others in His name.
Serving is a way of pouring out the overflow of His love and grace toward us on
those in need. Serving also fulfills
man’s ultimate purpose – to glorify God.
How can we exercise our gifts
and minister His grace?
Christ Community Chapel’s Serving Spree gives you a chance
to learn more about Local Outreach ministry partners through which you may be
called to serve. It all starts with a
visit. For example…
You can enjoy a meal at Broken Chains’ Urbean Café, where
Broken Chains’ clients are gaining valuable job experience. CCC families can
learn more by visiting the Café at the Metro Transit Center at 631 S. Broadway
in Akron. For couples, a visit to the Café can be a great double date. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday,
7 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays, from 9 AM to 3 PM. For more info on all that
Urbean Café does, watch the video on the www.kingdom.ccchapel.com website!
Another informative visit you could make is to the Mobility
Worldwide facility, where mobility carts for leg disabled people are
manufactured. The gift of mobility can empower people and transform their lives. Drop in at the shop at 1445 Commerce Drive in Stow, Ohio. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:30
AM to 12 PM. The shop welcomes tours by
individuals, families and community groups.
